When I see a platform charging premium prices and positioning itself as an all-in-one solution for creators, I look at it with a very specific set of questions. I built one of the internet’s first all-in-one marketing platforms and learned exactly where that approach works and where it doesn’t. Kajabi has taken a focused path — premium price, premium positioning, specific audience. Here’s whether that’s the right fit for you.

In this Kajabi review I take a candid look at one of the most premium all-in-one platforms for course creators, coaches, and digital entrepreneurs — covering pricing, features, ease of use, and whether it’s worth the significant investment in 2026.

What Is Kajabi?

This Kajabi review starts with the basics. Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for creators, coaches, and entrepreneurs that combines course hosting, email marketing, website building, sales funnels, community, podcasting, coaching programs, and digital product sales in a single integrated ecosystem.

Founded in 2010, Kajabi has grown into one of the most recognized premium platforms in the creator economy. Kajabi users have generated over $6 billion in revenue — a testament to the platform’s effectiveness for serious course creators and coaches.

In January 2026 Kajabi underwent its first major pricing restructure in nearly a decade, raising prices significantly across all plans while also adding substantial new features. This Kajabi review reflects the current 2026 pricing and feature set.

Who Is Kajabi For?

My Kajabi review found the platform is built for:

  • Established course creators who want to consolidate multiple tools into one platform
  • Coaches and consultants selling high-ticket coaching programs alongside digital products
  • Membership site owners wanting a professional, integrated platform
  • Digital entrepreneurs who want their website, email marketing, courses, and funnels in one place
  • Serious creators who are already generating revenue and want to scale without managing multiple subscriptions

Kajabi is not the right choice for beginners just testing the waters. For creators still building their first course or validating an idea, starting cheaper and migrating to Kajabi later is the pragmatic approach.

Kajabi Pricing 2026

Kajabi offers three paid plans: Basic at $179/month ($143/month billed annually), Growth at $249/month ($199/month billed annually), and Pro at $499/month ($399/month billed annually). Kajabi doesn’t require revenue sharing on any plan.

Basic — $143/month (billed annually)

The Basic plan includes 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 website, 1 community, and 2 admin users. Good for creators launching their first course or digital product who want access to Kajabi’s full ecosystem.

Key limitation: No affiliate program, no advanced automations, and no cohort courses on Basic.

Growth — $199/month (billed annually)

The Growth plan includes 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 1 website, 1 community, and 11 admin users. This is Kajabi’s most popular plan and the right choice for most growing course businesses. It unlocks the affiliate program, advanced automations, and cohort courses.

Pro — $399/month (billed annually)

The Pro plan includes unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 websites, 3 communities, and 26 admin users. Designed for large-scale creators, agencies, and businesses managing multiple brands or high-volume operations.

Transaction Fees

Kajabi Payments charges 2.9% + 30¢ on Basic — but adds 0.7% on every subscription or payment plan transaction, and another 1.5% on international cards. If you use your own Stripe account instead of Kajabi Payments there is an additional platform surcharge. Factor these fees into your cost calculations.

Key Features

Course and Product Creation — Kajabi’s course builder is polished and professional. You can create online courses, coaching programs, memberships, digital downloads, podcasts, and communities all within the same platform. The variety of product types is genuinely impressive — no other platform covers as many content formats.

Email Marketing — Built-in email marketing with automation, broadcasts, and sequences included at all plan levels. The email tools are solid for course businesses though not as advanced as dedicated platforms like ActiveCampaign. Advanced automations with if/then branching are available on Growth and above.

Website Builder — A full website builder with professional themes lets you create your entire online presence within Kajabi — no need for a separate WordPress site or page builder. Landing pages, sales pages, and blog are all included.

Sales Funnels and Pipelines — Kajabi’s Pipeline feature provides pre-built sales funnel templates that guide visitors through a complete customer journey from opt-in to purchase. Unlimited funnels are included on all plans.

Community — Built-in community features let you create a paid or free community for your students and customers — replacing the need for separate tools like Circle or Mighty Networks.

Coaching Programs — Kajabi has strong built-in coaching tools including session scheduling, client management, and payment processing for coaching packages. One of the best platforms available for coaches selling one-to-one services alongside group courses.

Analytics — Detailed analytics show you revenue, opt-in rates, video engagement, and student progress. Advanced attribution reporting helps you understand exactly which marketing activities drive sales.

What I Like About Kajabi

Genuinely all-in-one — Courses, email, website, funnels, community, coaching, and podcasting in one platform. For creators who hate managing multiple tools Kajabi eliminates the complexity entirely.

Premium student experience — The course player, mobile app, and overall student interface are the most polished available in the course platform market.

No revenue sharing — Unlike some competitors Kajabi takes 0% of your sales revenue regardless of which plan you’re on.

Constant innovation — Kajabi’s 2026 update added over 10 new features including cohort courses, comment-to-DM, video translations and transcriptions, and API access. The platform continues to invest heavily in new capabilities.

14-day free trial — Enough time to build a complete product, test the email tools, and process a real transaction before committing.

What I Don’t Like About Kajabi

It’s expensive — At $179/month minimum Kajabi is the most expensive course platform in its category. The January 2026 price increase raised Growth from $159/month to $199/month annually — a significant jump that upset many existing users.

Contact limits on Basic are restrictive — 2,500 contacts on Basic means most active email marketers will quickly need to upgrade to Growth.

Affiliate program locked behind Growth — Having to pay $199/month to access affiliate marketing tools is a frustration for Basic plan users.

Learning curve — The sheer number of features means new users need to invest time learning the platform before they can use it effectively.

Who Should Choose Kajabi?

Based on my Kajabi review here is my honest recommendation:

Choose Kajabi if you are an established creator already generating consistent revenue who wants to consolidate your tools, improve your student experience, and scale your business without managing multiple subscriptions.

Consider alternatives if you are just starting out. Teachable at $29/month or Thinkific at $36/month give you everything you need to launch and grow your first course business at a fraction of the cost. You can always migrate to Kajabi once your revenue justifies the investment.

The key question: Will the time savings and feature consolidation of Kajabi save you more than the cost difference versus cheaper alternatives? For creators spending $100-$200/month on separate email, website, and funnel tools the answer is often yes.

How I Tested Kajabi

To compile this Kajabi review I signed up for a trial account and tested the course builder, email marketing automation, website builder, funnel creation tools, and community features hands-on. I built a complete course from scratch and ran it through the full student experience to evaluate the platform from both creator and student perspectives.

My Kajabi Review Verdict

This Kajabi review 2026 concludes that Kajabi is the most complete all-in-one platform available for serious course creators and digital entrepreneurs. The platform quality, student experience, and breadth of features are genuinely best in class.

The price is significant — particularly after the January 2026 price increase. But for established creators who want to consolidate their tools and run their entire business from one platform, Kajabi delivers exceptional value.

For beginners the price is hard to justify. Start with Teachable or Thinkific, build your course business to consistent revenue, and then evaluate whether migrating to Kajabi makes financial sense.

My Rating: 4/5 ★★★★☆

Best for: Established course creators, coaches, and digital entrepreneurs who want the most complete all-in-one platform and are willing to pay a premium for it.
